Leah Garry, Director of Children and Family Ministry

Leah was born and raised in Mankato. She is the oldest of 5 children. She is proud to be god-mother to 3 special children and aunt to 1 nephew, Jackson. She is also proud to be an "aunt figure" to many little cousins.

Leah met her husband, Andrew Garry, in 2003. They became engaged in July of 2006. They selected Bethlehem Lutheran Church as the site of their wedding and were married there by Pastor Al Girtz on September 22, 2007.

Leah and Andrew have 1 daughter, Emerson Marie, who was born on April 25, 2009.

Bethlehem Background
Leah was baptized in the chapel of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. It was fitting for Leah to begin her Christian upbringing at Bethlehem -- her grandparents have been members of Bethlehem for over 50 years. Her Christian upbringing continued with Sunday School and Confirmation at Bethlehem. Once confirmed, Leah began teaching Sunday School and has taught ever since. Leah also has been an active member of the Children's Board for over 2 years.

Education
Leah attended school in Mankato and graduted from Mankato West High School in 2002. She continued her education at Minnesota State University, Mankato earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management in 2005.
