Mission Trips
Mission has been a major part of Bethlehem's history. The Youth are part of this effort to extend the gospel beyond our walls. Mission is a way to live your faith and to become Christ to others. In the last three years, the youth have taken a mission trip every year.
- 2004 - Coastal Carolina to do hurricane cleanup
- 2005 - Benton Harbor Michigan and worked on a recreational center for children
- 2006 - First ever international mission trip to Guatemala
- 2007 - Service trip to the Leach Lake Reservation in Cass Lake, MN.
- 2008 - Service Trip to Crow Reservation in southeast Montana
Trip to Guatemala 2006

2007 - Trip to Cass Lake MN
Cass Lake is a beautiful area surrounded by dense forests and numerous scenic lakes. Through changes in treaties over the years, however, tribal ownership of Leech Lake Reservation land amounts to only a small amount of its total acreage. Through home improvement and children’s programs, our teens had the opportunity to show the love of Christ while serving those on the Reservation.
2008 - Trip to Crow Reservation in Montana
The Crow Reservation in south-central Montana is a place of culture and tradition. Rolling hills, plains, grasslands and water create a beautiful landscape full of fish and wildlife. Like many Native American cultures, however, the Crow people struggle with poverty and unemployment. Our group was truly blessed by these people. We assisted with children’s programs and home improvement projects. We made friendships with three other churches from Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota that we treasure today.
