Nice words, but what do they mean?
◊ We work hard to be a welcoming community to ALL.
◊ We all have gifts, talents, and passions that we are meant to share with each other, and we are doing God’s work when we do so.
◊ We work hard to proclaim the “good news”. The purpose of evangelism is not just to save people from dying without Christ, but to save them from living without Him. Martin Luther put it this way: “It is the duty of every Christian to be Christ to his neighbor.”
